Provision and training in the use of assistive products for self-care

The provision of assistive products for self-care (e.g. products for toileting, washing, grooming, dressing, eating) that support people to improve and maintain their level of functioning and independence in daily living. Provision includes the identification of the specific needs of the individual, as well as the selection, manufacture or modification, and adjustment of the appropriate product. Following provision, the patient will be trained in the use and care of the products.
