Relaxation training

...

Relaxation training targets subjective experiences of pain, stress and anxiety but also body functions such as muscle tension or heart functions (blood pressure, heart rate). Relaxation training comprises a variety of approaches such as progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery, biofeedback, or deep breathing exercises. The training is guided by a health worker and, if feasible, performed self-directed following education and advice on the appropriate exercises.
