L'accesso e la partecipazione all'istruzione rappresentano una sfida per le persone con diagnosi di autismo. L'istruzione assistita è ritenuta efficace per migliorare il coinvolgimento scolastico. Il favorevole rapporto costi-benefici, considerando i vantaggi clinici e sociali, giustifica questo intervento.
